We created a test space in a market for everyone to enjoy, a place for arts and cultural conversation, connection, learning and development. Parlour is part of the Temporary Contemporary initiative at Queensgate Market in Huddersfield.

We’re questioning what value Parlour brings? how it might be used? and what the longer term future of Parlour might be? We’re designing activity in response to the ideas and feedback shared by artists and local people. We seek to engage with practitioners, sector and community interested in using the space and we continue to promote and work closely with the Temporary Contemporary initiative.
